CONTRAINDICATIONS OXYGENEO

 

-Current or history of skin cancer, or pre-malignant moles

 

-Any active conditions in the treatment area, such as sores, eczema, rash, fragile skin, swollen, burnt or injured skin, active acne, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis, or active Herpes Simplex or an active sunburn.

 

-Vascular disorders such as: telangiectasia, varicose veins, thrombosis, phlebitis in the applied area.

 

-Any surgical, invasive, ablative procedure in the treatment area within three months prior to treatment or before complete healing has occurred.

 

-Face lift, eyelid surgery, skin resurfacing, deep chemical peeling or deep dermabrasion in the treatment area within three months prior to treatment or before complete healing HAS OCCURRED.

 

-Use of, Aesthetic fillers, Botox, injectables, collagen, fat injections or other injected bio-materiaL and/or laser treatments in the treated area within two weeks prior to OxyGeneo Facial and not before complete healing has occurred.

 

-Pacemaker or internal defibrillator, implanted neurostimulators or any other internal electric system.

 

-Metal implants in the treatment area (not including dental implants and fillings).

 

-Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV, an autoimmune disease such as lupus + scleroderma or use of immunosuppressive medications.

 

-Those with Endocrine disorders must notify practitioner (diabetes, thyroid, etc), as the Ultrasound portion of facial will not be done over the neck area.

 

-Bleeding disorders, coagulopathies, areas of thrombophlebitis, or use of anticoagulantsHistory of skin disorders such as keloid scarring, abnormal wound healing, as well as very dry and fragile skin or having any medical condition that might impair skin healing.

 

-Pregnancy or lactation

 

-Use of Accutane in the last 12 months

 

-Facial waxing that has been performed within 1 week of the service.

Those undergoing Microblading/Shading sessions cannot have this facial within 2 weeks before starting their sessions and must wait six weeks after their final Touch-Up session before receiving an OxyGeneo Facial.

CONTRAINDICATIONS MICROCHANNELING

While MicroChanneling treatments are safe and effective for most women and men, there are some people who will not be good candidates for these types of treatments. If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment.

-Pregnancy – if you are pregnant or nursing you are advised to not receive any MicroChanneling treatments. To date there have been no studies conducted to see what effects these treatments may have on the unborn child, but as a general rule, pregnant women should stay away from any type of cosmetic/elective procedures. unless your physician instructs otherwise.

 

-Diabetes - unstable diabetes patients should not be treated due to problems with healing.

 

-Accutane or any related acne medication - you may consult your physician.

 

-Active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area - treatment is possible once the outbreak is healed, however it may be advisable to take prescription strength antiviral medication to keep this condition in remission during the treatment series.

 

-Dry skin - if your skin is overly dry, you will need to start moisturizing and ensure the condition is under control prior to undergoing any treatment.

 

-Any active inflammatory skin condition e.g. eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site (because it may aggravate the condition).

CONTRAINDICATIONS LED THERAPY

-Women who are pregnant should consult their physician before beginning LED light therapy treatments. LED will not increase your core temperature - the only area that is being treated is the face.

-Clients with Epilepsy should consult their physician before beginning LED light therapy treatments.

-You must wait five days after Botox or cosmetic fillers.

-Some Thyroid Conditions.

 

Cautions with medications due to light sensitivity:

-Chlorpromazine (Anti-psychotic), also know as Thorazine, Chlorpromazine HcL, Sonazine. You can be treated if the medication has not been taken within the last eight days.

-Griseofulvin (Anti-Fungal), also known as Grifulvin V, Fulvicin P/G, Gris-Peg. You can be treated if the medication has not been taken within the last five days.

-Isotretinoin (Anti-Acne), also know as Accutane. You can be treated if the medication has not been taken within the last six months.

-Tetracycline’s (antibiotic) also known as Helidac, Terra-Cortril, Terramycin, Sumycin, Tetracycline HcL, Bristacycline, Achromycin V, Actisite, Tetrex, Doxycycline, Ciprofloxacin. You can be treated if the medication has not been taken within the last five days.

-Tretinoin (Anti-Acne), also known as Retin-A, Renova, Atralin, among others. You can be treated if Tretinoin is used only at night.

-Methotrexate (Anti-Arthritis & Anti-Cancer), also known as Methotrexate Sodium, PF & LPF, Mexate-AQ, Folex, Trexall. You can be treated if the medicine has not been taken within the last three days.

-Amiodarone (Anti-Arrythmic), also known as Amiodarone Codarone x, Pacerone. Treatment can be administered only with your physician’s written permission.

CONTRAINDICATIONS REVITA PEN

Treatment can be performed but will avoid the following:

-Skin Tags
-Dermatosis Papulose Nigra
-Scars less than 6 months old

-Severe solar keratosis
-Psoriasis
-Eczema
-Active Blemishes

-Nursing or pregnant women (consult your physician)

Will not perform treatment if the following are present

-Scleroderma

-Undiagnosed lesions, rashes, or skin infections

-Recent herpes outbreaks

-Severe cases of Rosacea

-Diabetes and other Auto-immune system disorders (consult your physician)

-Undergoing cancer treatment
